Payperpost

December 16th, 2008 by Nick

Payperpost fired me. Said my blog sucked.

It’s ok, they’re all lazy and don’t do their job anyways. They claim they care about getting the posties opps, but they don’t. They have supposedly been working on getting izearanks to replace Google’s PR, but they haven’t. ’cause even if the posties don’t get paid opps, those greedy asses end up getting paid either way.

Morey’s Pier ‘oliday sale

December 4th, 2008 by Nick

Uck. It’s been so very very very long since i’ve been to an amusement park. I can barely remember. That’s what’s really lame about Omaha, huge zoo, but no amusement within a hundred miles. (or maybe des moines is 90? who knows.) Anyhoos, we don’t have any. And if they did, I think they’re a bit expensive. Which is another thing I’ve never known or experienced. They have sales too. Which is odd, but grand, since sales make my world go round.

I went to New Jersey in 2003, spent a couple hours there while on my way to NY, ’cause Newark was a cheaper place to land. It looked rather nice from where I was, and being a travel fiend, I’d love to go back someday (and to any destination - pretty much, anyways - for the matter.) Morey’s Pier sounds absolutely lovely - on the Jersey beach, with an amusement park and water park, complete with great Wildwood attractions and roller coasters. Anyhoo, they’re having a ‘oliday sale this season, until January 9, with up to 40% off on their season passes. Alas, I won’t have money. But someday I would like to take a Jersey Shore beach vacation.

Happy Thanksgiving!

December 4th, 2008 by Nick

Yes, I’m a week late. But better late than never! Hope everyone had a lovely thanksgiving, filled with Turkey and Pie and other delicious deliciousness. I had a lovely time, with my three pies. Pumpkin, Pecan, and a really amazing Turtle Pumpkin with caramel and pecans and whipped cream and drool! Minus the drool, of course. Drool does nothing for a recipe, I’m quite sure. Not that I know or anything.

Anyhoo - on to Christmas! (and presents!)

Free Ringtones (for the ‘olidays)

December 4th, 2008 by Nick

Now i’m going to start doing that all the time. I’m cutting out the H in holiday. It’s now officially ‘oliday. Like ‘allo. So there. And now that I’m over that bit of randomness, I’ll rapport about ringtones for a while. (I don’t know if rapport works there, but I like the word.)

I don’t have a cell phone. Gasp! It’s true! But of course, like everyone, I know people with cell phones. Which is nearly everyone, since i’m a cell phoneless mutant. Behold, stick me in a cage and gawk! Anyhoos, I simply must share this free ringtone sight. Where you can obviously download free ringtones. And just in time for the ‘olidays. I’m not really sure about all this ringtone business, sure I’ve played with my sister’s phone and all that, but I digress. I don’t really know much, but I do know that free is always good! Indeed it is. I know my sister uses Verizon, so I’ll pass on the link to free Verizon real music ringtones , and the world will be happy! It seems like a good deal (is it a deal if it’s free?) so if you’ve got a cellphone, definitely check them out.

New layout

November 22nd, 2008 by Nick

Tada! It took me five minutes to edit a WP theme, and here it is! I swear, one day I’ll sit back and study WP’s HTML and CSS and PHP and all that lame stuff and make my own from scratch. But until then, I’m lazy, and I like this. Life is good for everyone when Warhol is around. I’ll probably be making a few tweaks in the coming days as I work with it, but this is it! Yay!

Clap for me, damn you!

Ahoy there!

November 21st, 2008 by Nick

Ahoy there!

Originally uploaded by Marquis de Lather

Deers! They’ve been all over my yard lately, eatin’ the pumpkins, which is why we had none this year, as well as eating all the compost. I’m not complaining, I adore the deer. This is a somewhat blurry picture of one of tonight’s sightings (there were three)
This is the third time I’ve seen deer in my yard in a month, in the winter I’ll occasionally see footprints, but now they’ve been hanging out in sight, and I love it.
Deer are fun, and this post is turning random and rambling fast. So I suppose I’ll just leave the picture for you to see and be off before I get too insane.

Holiday frames

November 19th, 2008 by Nick

This is just lovely. As you know, I’m a bit of a weirdo. Into kitschy, tacky, and fun things. Sometiems those things are odd, but that’s what I love! Anyhoos, I don’t really know anyone who would want to wear this year round, but definitely once a year for a Christmas party or the like would be groovy, even if noone noticed. You noticed, and when you’re dressing up, that’s pretty much all that matters.

Holiday glasses frames from Zenni Optical! These Holiday frames are quite nice, from snowflakes to crosses and the like. And for quite cheap too, like all Zenni Optical’s frames. Cheap is good, as I say every day, and cheap combined with fun is even better. Add in a holiday, extra groovy fun times to be had by all! Look at me, gushing about frames for glasses with holiday motifs, absolutely random it is! But they are nice, and kitschy fun, and now I’ll go pass on the link, ’cause for some odd reason, I absolutely adore the oak leaf design for, I’m assuming, thanksgiving (or Canada!)

Beading

Beading

Maybe I’ll actually try it at some point this year, although I don’t know if I have nearly enough beads to do a whole head dress. I might go and buy some though, as it’s a project I’ve been wanting to do.

I love the craft store, I don’t go nearly enough, and when I do, I don’t have enough money to just buy what I think I need, it’s sad. But beads I need, and a craft storing I should go. Now I need a ride. Harumph.
